According to the Catholic church they are: Lust - Excessive sexual thoughts Gluttony - Excessive consumption, especially of food Greed - Excessive desires, especially for wealth and power Sloth - A lack of concern for yourself and the wider world Wrath - A lack of control in violent urges Envy - The desire to take that which belongs to others Pride - An undeserved sense of self-worth I've always thought that there's a certain overlap between gluttony and greed. You could call them deadly synonyms :)
